We’ve assembled a list of some of the 11 most memorable video game music themes. This isn’t comprehensive, and there are plenty we simply didn’t have room for. We’ve just skimmed the surface here, and we hope this takes you on a nice trip into your gaming past.
Final Fantasy VII – “Victory Fanfare”
There are so many Final Fantasy games, and so much of their music is absolutely stunning. That’s thanks largely to composer Nobuo Uematsu, who worked on the franchise from 1987 until 2004.
For our money, the single most memorable theme from the entire series is the Victory Fanfare. It’s not the most beautiful piece of music in the series. That honor certainly goes to “To Zanarkand” from Final Fantasy X.
“Victory Fanfare” may not be the most beautiful, but it the one piece of music that reminds everyone of Final Fantasy. Nothing says “Yay!” like that classic musical phrase.
